Pull Box Terms & Conditions
Last updated August 22, 2026. Please read these terms carefully — they explain how your Pull Box subscription, payment, and commitments work.
1. Your Pull Box
The Pull Box is a standing order service. When you activate, you ask us to reserve comics and related products for you and to ship them to you on the cadence you choose. You can browse, add, skip, and remove issues from your box through this portal up until each item's order cutoff.
2. Payment method on file (card vaulting)
To activate your Pull Box you complete a one-time $1 activation checkout. The $1 is applied back as a credit on your first billed box. By activating, you authorize us to securely store ("vault") your payment method through Shopify's payment platform and to charge that payment method for amounts you owe under these terms, including for future Pull Box shipments, without re-entering your details each time. Your card data is held by Shopify's PCI-compliant systems; we do not store full card numbers ourselves. You are responsible for keeping a valid payment method on file.
3. Final Order Cutoff and committed items
Comics are ordered from distributors ahead of their release using a Final Order Cutoff ("FOC") date. You may skip or remove an item from your box at any time before its FOC cutoff. Once an item passes its FOC, your order for that item is committed and final: it cannot be uncommitted, removed, cancelled, or refunded, because we order it from the distributor specifically for you. You are responsible for paying for items that are committed on your behalf and subsequently shipped to you. The portal shows each item's cutoff so you always know your last chance to make changes.
4. When you are charged
We charge your vaulted payment method only for books we have actually received for you and that ship to you, billed at your chosen cadence. Shipping is only ever charged on boxes that contain books — a billing with nothing to ship is never charged shipping. You are never charged for issues that do not ship to you — for example, items that are cancelled by the publisher or distributor, that we are unable to obtain, or that are otherwise not allocated to you. If a committed item is short-shipped or unavailable, you will not be billed for the copies you do not receive.
5. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel your Pull Box at any time from Settings in your dashboard. Cancellation stops future commitments and ends your subscription going forward. Cancelling does not reverse items that were already committed at their FOC before you cancelled — those items will still be fulfilled and billed when they ship. After that, you will not be charged again.
6. Availability and pricing
Quantities, covers, and release dates are set by publishers and distributors and are not guaranteed. Release dates can move, publishers can cancel or resolicit books, and allocations can fall short of demand, which may reduce or delay a shipment. We may limit the number of copies of an item available to any customer.
You will never pay more for a book than the price you committed to: each book is billed at the lower of its price when it was committed and our current shelf price when it ships. Publisher price increases after commitment are never passed on to you. Any standing discount on your account is a discretionary benefit that we may grant, adjust, or withdraw at any time; discount changes apply only to future billings, never to boxes already billed.
7. Shipping, delivery, and damaged items
Each shipped box is charged a flat shipping fee; a billing with nothing to ship is never charged shipping. Boxes ship to the address on your Shopify customer account — you are responsible for keeping it current, and we are not responsible for boxes delivered to an out-of-date or incorrect address you provided. Comics are sold as new reading copies and are not professionally graded; minor printing, binding, or handling variance from the publisher or distributor is normal and is not a defect.
If your box arrives damaged, or does not arrive within a reasonable time of its expected delivery, contact us at info@ampedcomics.com within 7 days and we will make it right with a replacement (when available), a store credit, or a refund, at our discretion. Except for those cases, all sales are final once a box has shipped.
8. Failed or declined payments
If a charge on your payment method fails, we will notify you by email and in the portal, and your books will be set aside while you update your payment method from your Shopify account. We may retry the charge. While a balance remains uncollected we may hold further shipments. Books committed for you remain your responsibility to purchase; if we cannot collect payment after a reasonable period, we may cancel your membership, release the books, and decline future membership.
9. Eligibility and your account
You must be 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Pull Box, and you must be authorized to use the payment method on file. You agree to provide and maintain accurate account information — including your email and shipping address — through your Shopify customer account, and you are responsible for activity on your account. We may decline, limit, or refuse membership or specific orders at our discretion.
10. Service changes, suspension, and termination
The Pull Box is an evolving service and we may add, change, pause, or retire features — or the service itself — at any time. If we discontinue the service or terminate your membership, no new items will be committed on your behalf and you will only be charged for books that actually ship to you. We may suspend or cancel a membership in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, misuse of chargebacks, or violation of these terms.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Pull Box service and this portal are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Amped Comics LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including lost profits or lost collectible value — arising out of or related to the service, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amounts you paid us for your Pull Box in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you; nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them or from the Pull Box service are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing any claim, please contact us — most issues can be resolved quickly and informally.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available here, and material changes take effect for orders committed after they are posted.
